Heat Press Instructions for DTF Transfers
* Position Your Design:
* Take your time to place the transfer exactly where you want it on your item.
* Apply Pressure:
* Press the transfer with moderate pressure at 320°F / 160°C for 15 seconds. Be cautious not to damage the garment by using excessive heat. You can test with more heat, pressure, or time, but always ensure to protect your garment with parchment paper or a guard sheet.
* Cool Down and Peel:
* After pressing, let the transfer cool for at least 15-30 seconds. Once cool, gently peel it back from one corner.
* If the design doesn't fully transfer and it was cool when peeling, it indicates insufficient heat, pressure, or time. Press again with more pressure and time initially.
* If needed, increase the temperature in 15°F increments until you achieve the desired result. You can press multiple times without damaging the transfer.
* Final Touch:
* Place the included parchment paper or a single layer of T-shirt material over the design and press again for 15 seconds. This step helps soften the design, enhance durability, and eliminate any shine. If you prefer a shiny finish, use a protective guard sheet for the final press. For washing, turn the shirt inside out, use cold water, and dry on low heat or hang to dry.
